Description: Upright perennial herb growing to about 80cm with square red stems, elliptical leaves and clusters of pink flowers. Native to Europe but now occurs extensively throughout the world.
Actions: Stimulant, carminative, diaphoretic and nerve tonic.
Common uses: Respiratory and digestive problems, rheumatism and headaches.
Cautions: Not recommended for use in people with hypersensitive or damaged skin or children under 2 years of age.
